Gervaise Mourlet worked with Wei Ling on “The Good Husband”, which was when she got the bug for producing. She has been fascinated with every aspect of filmmaking since she was a kid. Films that influenced her include "Marathon Man", "Shadows", "The Empire of the Sun", and more recently "Babel". She loves filmmaking because she believes it is the most versatile form of art.
As a writer, Gervaise wrote a short film entitled “Out” while in Law School in Paris, France. The short was shot in both English and French, in digital format. She was also involved in writing and performing comedy skits for a weekly radio show in Paris.
